How to stop a paper from stealing your email address: Here’s how
Google News is a popular news aggregator with over 1.2 billion monthly active users.
The company has been criticised for its handling of news stories on social media and other online platforms.
Now, an investigation has uncovered how to prevent a newspaper from using your email as an identifier.
The investigation is being led by an independent researcher from the University of East Anglia.
The article explains how to identify and block spam emails, as well as how to protect your identity when it comes to spam.
“What we found was that you can easily block emails sent from your inbox that you know are spam and identify the sender,” Dr. Jonathan Evans, one of the researchers, told TechCrunch.
“If someone sends you an email saying that a piece of content is spam and you don’t want it to get into your inbox, you can block that email.”
